A Passion for Dance!

Everyone might wonder why I am suddenly obsessed with dance.Good news is that the obsession is not with me dancing, its more of watching someone else dance. One such person I can sit and watch for hours is Guna. He is the man behind the Flyerz Dance Company.Boys Vs Girls, just like any other reality show, this one was just another competition for money and fame. Some contestants were familiar faces and others were new on-screen. Guna was one such person I have never seen on Tv so far. But he has been the man behind many reality shows as a choreographer. In the programme many such performances by Guna failed to impress me!.One day was the romance round where he was paired up with Vandana.Dressed in white and the tunes of a slow song called Minnal from Pollathavan movie was definetely not a turn-on.To my shock, that was the best choreography I have seen for a romantic number.I was mesmerized by each and every move of his dance.I wished I was Vandana.Nothing in the bad sense. Just wanted to be dancing crazy like that. It all started there, I became a huge fan of his dance.I started looking forward to see more of his performances and not once he has disappointed me.Every dance step and style comes at ease for this young man and he makes me wonder why I skipped all my dance lessons when I was young.Amazing dancer. According to me he is the man born to dance. Not that MJ or Prabhu Deva are any less. But to me Guna's dance is to die for and I am pretty sad that the show was over last week and I will not be able to see his performances anymore. But I am happy that great performances like what he gave will not be forgotten!

Kuruvi - My review!

Everyone knows that I am a die-hard fan of Vijay. I watch every single movie of his at the theatre.I get completely engrossed in his movie while watching it. I smile like a stupid girl when I see him on-screen, I sing along for his songs, I cry when there is an emotional scene and can get furious with the villain coz he tortures the hero on-screen. Kuruvi, Vijay's latest movie was released in Totem Lake Cinemas here in Seattle last friday i.e May 9th. The reviews were not so good. I heard that people were expecting a blockbuster like the movie Ghillie just because it had the successful 'Ghillie' team in it!.I didn't keep my expectations high. I was all excited to watch the movie. 2 1/2 hours of time pass. I won't say whether the movie was good or bad. The first half was good with Vijay and Vivek's comedy. The second half was little draggy but not boring. The songs were awesome. I would say they were extra-ordinary.But I have to criticise on the movie. Just because I am a die-hard fan of Vijay doesn't mean I cannot criticise about the movie. First of all, the begining scene, Vijay jumping out of the drain and flying high was the worst introduction I have ever seen. Secondly, he enters in a big car race competition with a scrap car (well..even worse than that!!!)where he faces problem with the accelerator hence uses his mouth to pull and accelerate the car and drive . I don't understand how he still wins the race.Next, I was shocked when Vijay casually kicked a tree and it broke and fell. For a second I thought "Am I watching a Vijay or a Vijayakanth movie?!?!?". Jumping on a train which is far far away from the building he was standing was one hell of a crazy thing I have ever seen!. If the above scenes were cut from the movie, it would have been a good movie. Finally, the chubby actor Suman needs a special mentionhere. Its would have been appropriate if the song 'Mozha Mozhanu' was written for him. Overall, I should say "God save Tamil Cinema!!!"

The Best Chocolates I have ever tasted!

It was weekend. We decided to go to Leavenworth,a quaint little Bavarian Village nestled in the central Cascade Mountains of Washington State. Its a small German town.It takes 2 1/2 hours to drive to Leavenworth from Bellevue. It was a beautiful Scenic drive crossing beautiful Snowy Mountains and Fantabulous Greenery's..We reached Leavenworth and started walking at a street called Front street..the first one was a chocolate shop...without looking at the name of the shop we walked in...The lady inside the shop welcomed us and gave us samples to taste...My Husband picked milk chocolate mint flavour...He said it was yummy....Honestly I hate mint in chocolates so I walked further and came across something called 'Belgium Milk Chocolate Fudge'..I thought I will give it a try and tasted a small piece that she gave me...it was good...that small piece cut from the edge of the big chocolate bar tasted just like Cadbury's Diary milk..My Husband wanted me to buy some chocolate to eat while walking at the street... So I decided to buy 'Belgium Milk Chocolate Fudge' ..It was $11 a pound...We bought a quarter pound which was like a big bar and costed $2.75....We came out of the shop and started walking the street seeing lots of stuffs and German buildings...I took the chocolate out of the bag and took a big bite...The outer layer was hard but the inner most layer was the soft fudge that just melt in my mouth..It was the best chocolates I have ever tasted...When I was in India my all time fav chocolate would be cadbary's diary milk or 5-Star....Not that I have not tasted other best chocolates.

I have travelled almost everywhere in the world and eaten all the worlds best chocolates including chocolates from Switzerland ,but this one was The Best Chocolates I have ever tasted in my whole life....after a long walk I ate only half of the chocolates and had a big piece to eat..but I put it back in my bag and thought I will eat in the car on my way back home. After a long sight seeing for 2 hours we got back to the car....the chocolate shop was just few steps from the car...so my hubby asked whether I want some more of those yummy Belgium milk chocolate fudge...I said No....and I said that I already have some left and I also said "Itz CALORIES!!!"(as if I was slim[:p])...He forced me again and again to buy ....he knew I just loved it....but all I kept saying was NO.....On our way back after an hour drive , I picked up my chocolate and enjoyed eating the rest of it for like 15 mins and realised that it was over.....I didn't want it to get over......I wanted more of it.....and we were already an hour away from that place...How will my Hubby react if I asked him?? I refused the offer that I got and now ask for a chocolate after an hour drive??..He will think I am crazy.....But I said I wanted the chocolates..He said I was mad! :( we came back home....when I was eatting dinner..I couldn't stop thinking about the chocolates....when I went to sleep....It came in my dream :D....I woke up in the morning and then realized...I was in LOVE.....Well in Love with the WORLDS BEST 'BELGIUM MILK CHOCOLATE FUDGE'!!!

SCORPIO Zodiac Compatibility!!!

SCORPIO with PISCES:

Both of you are very sensitive, feeling, compassionate people, and with one another you are able to have a depth of sharing and intimacy and emotional union that you will find with few others. Pisces' sympathetic, nonjudgmental, understanding attitude can be a healing balm to Scorpio , who is more emotional and who often carries secret guilts, inner conflicts, and pain. Scorpio is more forceful than Pisces, and will sometimes lash out with sarcasm or vindictiveness when hurt, which deeply wounds Pisces. Pisces is gentler, has less protective armor, and is generally more forgiving than Scorpio is. Another difference in your natures is this: Scorpio is highly sexual and physical, while Pisces prefers more softness, subtlety, and romance. Basically however, you are quite compatible and can have a very fulfilling union.

SCORPIO with AQUARIUS:

Aquarius is idealistic and can be very abstract and heady, while Scorpio relies more on instinct, intuitive sensitivity, and gut feelings. Scorpio's passions, irrational loves and hates, and intense emotional responses baffle Aquarius , who is far more rational and cerebral. More importantly, Scorpio is very emotionally attached to a lover and can be become intensely fixated on a person. Aquarius is cool, unemotional, and rather aloof by comparison. Aquarius needs lots of friends and acquaintances but is not as involved in personal relationships as most people. This may create an emotional gap between you that may well be hard to reconcile. You are also both stubborn, rather opinionated, and inflexible. You'll need to appreciate and really understand the differences in your temperaments to harmonize in a long term relationship.

SCORPIO with CAPRICORN:

Both of you are initially very careful about revealing feelings, motives and vulnerabilities you are unwilling to reveal your depths to others initially. It takes time for both of you to trust and become open emotionally. Both of you have a natural suspiciousness and reserve, and both are disinclined to have casual relationships. The difference between you is this: Capricorn has a much greater capacity for objectivity, emotional distance, and detachment than Scorpio. Capricorn can be strangely aloof at times, especially when feeling threatened, while Scorpio will seethe with emotion. Scorpio is instinctive and passionate, and gets totally immersed in, and attached to, a lover. Capricorn may or may not feel as bonded, and even if Capricorn feels as strongly as Scorpio, Capricorn may not be able to show the depth of feelings and emotional responsiveness that Scorpio desires. This is unlikely to be a light, frothy, fun relationship but then neither of you really wants that anyway.

SCORPIO with SAGITTARIUS:

You are different in many ways: Very often, Sagittarius feels lighthearted and enthusiastic about some idea, project, plan or dream, and feels that Scorpio is too myopic and stubborn to appreciate optimistic plans. Also, Sagittarius loves festivities and socializing while Scorpio often feels uncomfortable with large groups of people, and prefers a deeper, more intimate involvement with just a few people rather than carousing with a large group. Scorpio is capable of tremendous concentrated and persistent effort whereas Sagittarius prefers to do a little bit of everything: traveling and developing a wide sphere of interests and activities, rather than being limited to a few activities. Also, Scorpio's feelings usually run much deeper than Sagittarius's feelings, so Sagittarius frequently fails to appreciate the depth of feeling that Scorpio experiences. Scorpio becomes very attached, emotionally, to a love partner and doesn't easily share Sagittarius's attention and affection with anyone else. Sagittarius, on the other hand, is something of a flirt and may innocently arouse intense jealousy in Scorpio. Sagittarius can be weighted down by Scorpio's suspiciousness, demands for loyalty and wholehearted involvement. Worse, Sagittarius may simply ignore Scorpio's needs and not realize how strongly Scorpio feels. Sagittarius has a much greater need for freedom. The two of you are so different that it will take a lot of compassion and understanding for you to be together for any length of time.

SCORPIO with SCORPIO:

Your partnership is an intense one, and you are likely to become very attached to, or obsessed with each other. If romantic attraction is even reasonably strong, this relationship could easily lead to marriage. First of all, both of you are very oriented towards marriage. Neither of you feels comfortable in light relationships and it is difficult for you to be just dating someone. You prefer to be wholeheartedly involved in a deep relationship or not at all. Both of you are also prone to be possessive and very emotionally attached to anyone that you give your love to. Like most lasting, important relationships, yours will have its share of difficult times, and you both seem to thrive on passionate, tempestuous interactions. Stormy fights and sizzling reunions may typify your relationship. You both love intensely and you hate with equal ferocity, so your relationship is likely to be either deeply satisfying or very destructive to you both there is no middle ground for the two of you.

SCORPIO with LIBRA:

In many situations, Scorpio will respond with greater emotional intensity than Libra. While Libra is not a cool and aloof individual, Scorpio's feelings can run deeper. For example, both of you want a close relationship, but Scorpio can become intensely fixated on a person and possessive, whereas Libra maintains a sense of proportion and some reasonable degree of objectivity and emotional distance from others, even in marriage. Scorpio's urge to merge can be very powerful. Libra's approach to life, in general, tends to be more moderate and well balanced, while Scorpio tends to periodically become intensely focused on some area of concern and become even fanatical in pursuit of some interest. Libra's detached fairness can infuriate Scorpio at times, and Scorpio 's inexplicable dark moods or fervent responses bewilder Libra. These differences need not create serious problems in your relationship. Emotional bonds between you can be very strong, especially if other astrological indications indicate strong romantic or sexual ties.

SCORPIO with VIRGO:

There are times when Scorpio strides fearlessly into a challenging situation, and Virgo feels much more cautious and careful. Scorpio may consider Virgo to be too timid, and Virgo may feel that Scorpio lacks prudence. There are also many situations where Scorpio is more stubborn and persevering than Virgo . Scorpio may view Virgo's lack of commitment and dedication to a single purpose to be a sign of weakness. There is also the possibility that Virgo will view Scorpio as being a bit crude, too passionate or emotionally attached to certain situations or ideas. Virgo has refined sensitivities and sometimes literally doesn't like to get dirty hands, while Scorpio is more primitive, raw, and unsqueamish. You both need to strive to harmonize your different natures and not antagonize each other.

SCORPIO with LEO:

Both of you are very proud, stubborn, strong willed individuals and you are attracted to the strength of character that you sense in each other. There is a feeling of conquest between you that may serve to intensify the excitement of your attraction to each other. However, your strong wills may also prove to be a problem in a long term relationship. You face the possibility that your combined inflexibility will make it difficult for the two of you to reach mutually satisfying decisions and both of you tend to stubbornly resist compromising when your preferences are different. A battle of wills is likely to ensue! Another potential problem is jealousy or lopsided bonding. Scorpio bonds very intensely in romantic relationships and is inclined towards monogamy. Leo is also very loyal, but not nearly as intense, emotional, or obsessive as Scorpio is.

SCORPIO with CANCER:

Both of you have strong, deep feelings and you bond very intensely. Consequently you become very attached to each other and cling tightly to each other. However, your emotional natures are different in many ways too. Cancer often feels more compassion and sympathy for someone, while Scorpio may view Cancer's feelings as sentimentality. When wounded, Scorpio becomes resentful and vindictive. Cancer, on the other hand, cries or sulks, and usually lets the other person know verbally or nonverbally about it. Scorpio, by contrast, hides it. You may also have different attitudes towards sexuality versus love. For example, Cancer may feel that Scorpio is sometimes more driven by instinct and lust than by love, and this may become an issue in your relationship. Overall, though, the intense bonding and emotionality of your relationship fosters a deep, lasting attachment between you.

SCORPIO with GEMINI:

You two are very different! Scorpio becomes intensely involved emotionally to particular people and places. Scorpio bonds deeply and becomes very attached to close people and especially to a lover.Gemini , by contrast, takes life in a lighter vein and usually does not become as emotionally involved and attached to things as Scorpio. Scorpio may feel that Gemini is superficial, evasive, childish, and not serious enough, while Gemini may feel that Scorpio is too heavy, intense, demanding, and insatiable. Scorpio thrives on intensive, direct experiences and is best suited to a life style that involves direct, nonvicarious, nonintellectual activities of forceful, instinctive, or natural kind, preferably using one's hands examples: surgery, deep sea diving, most competitive athletic sports, sex, pottery, etc. while Gemini's approach is more cerebral, less focused and intensive, and more varied. The disparity between your two approaches to life is great and you need to strive to make your differences complement each other rather than interfere with each other. The truth is you are probably attracted to the very same qualities that make you so different.
SCORPIO with TAURUS:

There is a strong magnetic attraction between the two of you and even if you have little in common intellectually or spiritually, your physical relationship is likely to be very intense, binding you together. If you do have common interests and resonate on an intellectual level as well, you will be unable to stay away from each other! You are both very possessive, and Scorpio especially is prone to jealousy. There are significant differences in your emotional makeup, however: Taurus is steadier, simpler, less complex, and less needy than Scorpio is. Scorpio demands more in terms of emotional involvement and depth of intimacy than Taurus. You are both extremely stubborn, strongwilled people and you both need to learn to bend and compromise more graciously in order to harmonize with one another. Neither of you is especially articulate or communicative about the things that matter most to you, and much misunderstanding can result.

SCORPIO with ARIES:

You are both willful and passionate people, with a strong desire to live intensely and directly, and you love this about each other. There is a lot of fire in your relationship and you are likely to fight ferociously sometimes. Aries, however, can release anger and emotions and then forget about it, while Scorpio nurses grudges and resentments, and may hold on to the wounds that Aries unthinkingly inflicts. Also, Scorpio needs to feel intensely bonded emotionally, and Aries may not have the same overwhelming need for closeness.
